7 May 2024 – 6:30pm
Branch

Join the CQI West of Scotland Branch with speaker David K Ramsay for a presentation on the investigation of failures.

Not to be missed, for this in person event we will hear from David K. Ramsay as he shares his life experiences on "Investigation of Failures".

David formed The Kelvin Consultants Ltd in 1986, initially to produce open learning materials, in the nineties he was invited by Shell Expro in Aberdeen, to train managers on how to investigate industrial accidents.

During this period the company developed incident investigation system ‘Kelvin TOP-SET’. This methodology is now widely used around the world, with over 30,000 people been trained in its use and application.

David's work has included the investigation of failures and accidents in many industrial sectors, including oil and gas, rail, marine and explosives; mostly where there have been very serious incidents, right up to and including, the 2010 Deepwater Horizon disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.

This will be held in person at the University West Scotland, Paisley Campus. Room D137/9

Register to attend.
